Libbys has been a much loved part of the equestrian and dog community for nearly 40 years as a staple of the outdoor event scene with its famous tradestand. Whether your interest is in endurance, eventing, driving, showjumping or hacking through the forest - we have something for you!

We are the leaders in webbing technology with our range of popular bridles and tack that can be made to fit any size and in a wide choice of colours. This is why our items are sold all over the world and have many loyal customers who come to us year after year.

All of our items are handmade to order right here in the UK. We can make tack to suit your horse no matter how small or large, specialising in supplying tack and equipment for miniature Shetlands all the way up to Draught horses.

The Libby’s product range plus leather bridles and tack, dog leads and collars, dog coats and many items from leading equestrian suppliers can be seen on our trade stand at many county and major equestrian shows up and down the country. We are described as the only true tack shop on the show circuit and we are now bringing this much loved show stand to your screens.

Since March 2025, for the first time in well over a decade, both the retail and manufacturing of Libbys has been back under one owner and one roof. Every Libbys item that we sell is handmade at the point of order, right here in the UK.

About The Owner

The most surprising thing for people to learn about the owner is that her name is Amy - not Libby!

Amy is an experienced horsewoman who has worked in the industry for many years, first as a professional rider and trainer and then as a dealer. However for the past decade Amy has been focusing on building her passion, breeding quality performance horses for both the amateur and professional market with an emphasis on producing user-friendly, talented horses with exceptional temperaments. Amy runs Risada Stud full time alongside Libbys and finds the horses at the stud make fantastic models and product testers!

Despite having no prior experience in sewing or manufacturing, Amy now runs Libbys singlehandedly from her garage and kitchen table and makes every new item to order by hand. 

Amy is supported, encouraged and stalked by her German Shepherd, Dog.
